A.B. demonstrates the power of the Beauty by Design Collective. She is a ”40-something” healthcare provider who over the years got caught up in her patients and profession thus neglecting her personal health and self-care. As a result she gained weight and became dissatisfied with her overall image. Additionally, she noticed negative changes in her body which she attributed to the aging process. She rationally believed her aching joints, sleep disruption, moodiness, and decreased energy was more than likely a function of getting older and the weight gain.
During her consultation, I explained all of the symptoms she described could be attributed to her hormone levels. The low hormone level would help to explain her weight gain, especially around her midsection. The prescription for A.B. was initially two-fold: correct the hormone imbalance and remove fat with Lipo 360.
A set of hormone labs confirmed all her levels were low. This was corrected with BHRT (pellets) causing all her symptoms to resolve. With Lipo 360, I was able give her back the curvy silhouette she had in high school and college. There is no one-size fits all solution, but I am a firm believer that the “multi-pronged “ approach gets patients to their goal for the long term.

Proven results that speak for themselves.

Awake liposuction is a minimally invasive fat-removal procedure performed with local anesthesia, so patients remain awake and comfortable while the treatment area is numbed. It is commonly used for smaller, stubborn areas of fat that have not responded to diet and exercise, and it avoids general anesthesia and a hospital stay.
Liposuction with General Anesthesia is the same process of fat-removal but is performed under general anesthesia, so patients will be sleep while the treatment area is being performed. The biggest difference is cost. Under general anesthesia, you will be put to sleep by an anesthesiologist.
Mommy Makeover/Abdominal Contouring
A tummy tuck, also called abdominoplasty, is a cosmetic procedure that helps flatten and smooth the abdomen by removing extra skin and fat, and in some cases tightening the stomach muscles. It is often chosen after pregnancy, major weight loss, or when loose belly skin does not improve with diet and exercise. This procedure is performed under general anesthesia.
A procedure similar to a tummy tuck called panniculectomy focuses on removing the hanging lower-belly skin and fat. Unlike a tummy tuck, it usually does not tighten the abdominal muscles, and it is often used when excess skin causes irritation, discomfort, or hygiene problems. This procedure usually occurs under general anesthesia, but in certain cases can be performed while awake under local anesthesia.

Massive weight loss can cause loose skin. Skin removal can make areas flat and tight.
An arm lift targets the upper arms, where loose skin and fat can cause a "bat wing" appearance. This procedure removes the extra skin and tightens the remaining tissue to create a more toned, smoother look from the underarm to the elbow.
A thigh lift is used to improve the appearance of the inner or outer thighs. It removes excess skin and fat, resulting in smoother, firmer skin. This is a common choice for patients who feel self-conscious about loose skin rubbing together or affecting the way clothing fits.
A body lift is a more comprehensive procedure that addresses multiple areas at once, such as the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. It is most frequently performed on patients who have experienced massive weight loss. By removing large sections of sagging skin, it helps redefine the body’s shape to better reflect the patient's new, smaller frame.
Breast procedures in cosmetic and plastic surgery are treatments that change the size, shape, or position of the breasts.
Breast augmentation is a procedure that makes the breasts fuller using implants or, in some cases, fat from another part of the body. It may be used to increase size, improve symmetry, or restore volume lost over time. Some patients may also consider breast implant removal or implant revision if they want their implants taken out or changed. Breast reconstruction is another option, often done after mastectomy or injury, to rebuild the breast shape.
A breast lift, also called mastopexy, raises and reshapes breasts that have started to sag. During this procedure, extra skin is removed and the nipple and breast tissue are moved to a higher position.
Breast reduction removes extra breast tissue, fat, and skin to create smaller, lighter breasts. It can also help lift the breasts into a more comfortable position.

Morpheus 8 is a treatment that helps refresh the skin from the inside out.
Morpheus8 is a non-surgical skin treatment that combines tiny microneedles with gentle radiofrequency heat to help tighten skin and improve its texture. It is often used on the face and body to soften fine lines, improve mild skin looseness, reduce the look of acne scars or stretch marks, and give the skin a smoother, firmer appearance.
Morpheus 8 may be a good option for patients who want to improve:
- Loose or sagging skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Uneven skin texture
- Acne scars
- Stretch marks
- Mild skin laxity on the face or body
Treatment is usually done in a series of sessions, and results improve gradually over time as the skin builds new collagen. Some redness and small marks can happen after treatment, but downtime is usually limited. Morpheus8 is not a replacement for surgery, but it can be a helpful option for patients looking for noticeable skin tightening and skin rejuvenation without a major procedure.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, or BHRT, is a treatment used (by Men and Women) to help balance hormones when the body is no longer making enough on its own. It is most often used in women for symptoms related to menopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, sleep problems, mood changes, vaginal dryness, and low libido.
In simple terms, the hormones used in BHRT are designed to be chemically similar to the hormones your body naturally makes. Common examples include estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Some forms are FDA-approved, while others are custom-made by compounding pharmacies.
- BHRT may help reduce common hormone-related symptoms and improve day-to-day comfort.
- It is not a one-size-fits-all treatment, because hormone needs vary from person to person.
- A consultation and lab work may be used to help determine whether treatment is appropriate.
- Like any hormone treatment, it can have side effects and risks, so it should be prescribed and monitored by a qualified provider.

Y.W. is a 64 year old female who has 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. She stated that she had gained weight over the years and grown very dissatisfied with her appearance. I carved out the figure she once had in her youth with 2 hours of awake liposuction. She is and remains very happy with her results.
